Daybook

FOR TODAY, Monday, October 24, 2011

Outside my window... after a rainy, dreary morning, the sun is attempting to come out

I am thinking... my mind is resting. It's been a whirlwind few weeks around here.

I am thankful for... the chance to host family birthday parties, thankful for cousins to share ideas about babies, thankful for my church family, thankful for days at home

From the kitchen... finishing leftovers, possibly making sausage & potato chowder for dinner

I am wearing... jeans and a hoodie

I am creating... I am still in the mood to declutter and clean out. I want to have a trunk full of stuff to deliver to Goodwill. We have too.much.stuff.

I am reading... "Words that hurt, words that heal" by Carol Mayhall. It's our Bible study book for this fall.

I am praying...
-Praying for our church building, which has a mold issue.
-Praying for little Sophie, 2 years old, who has brain cancer
-Praying for wisdom regarding employment for my husband and myself

I am hoping... Matt feels better soon. Slight earache and molars coming in... he doesn't sleep well which means we don't sleep well either.

Around the house... new toys, birthday cards and party leftovers

One of my favorite things... daydreaming about the future (although I love the "now" too)

Pondering these words... "Anything, anywhere, anytime, Lord."

A few plans for the rest of the week... finishing Matt's Halloween costume, taking costume pictures with the cousins, and working.

A picture thought I'm sharing...
