Outside my window... the remodeling neighbors next door are busy... more power washing and lots of trash hauled out

I am thinking... about beginnings and endings, and about wants vs. needs (remembering to be thankful for what I have)

I am thankful for... my job

From the kitchen... boxes and bags of tomatoes, beans and peaches waiting for me to get some motivation

I am wearing... khaki capris and a work shirt

I am creating... ideas for cleaning out and rearranging to make home life a little more simple and a little more organized

I am reading... old decorating magazines

I am praying... for my baby to feel better. It's just a cold, but he's just not himself

I am hoping... still hoping a buyer comes through. We're in the 11th hour (is that the right saying?)

Around the house... a living room full of clean clothes, some folded, some not

One of my favorite things... my baby's smile

 

Pondering these words... "I guarantee this memory's a big one, and she thinks we're just fishin'..." remembering to savor the every day moments

 

A few plans for the rest of the week... work, picnics (Labor Day already??), baby "sprinkle," lots of canning and enjoying this beautiful almost-fall-end-of-summer weather
